Most of this work began with a message from a stranger. Send one.
I have never charged anything for peace music work, and I never will.
In twenty-five years, no song, no recording and no collaboration has been sold. Songs go to peace projects, schools, campaigns and gatherings freely, and nothing is asked in return.
I do choose carefully. I take on the projects that feel right to me, and the people I think most deserve the help — and the work has to serve peace. If that is what you are doing, write, and tell me plainly what you are trying to achieve.
Or use the form below. Messages are read personally, and replies usually go out within a few days. Please write in whichever language is easiest for you.
Artists in Hawaiʻi — let’s make something
Hawaiʻi has been my home for twenty years, and most of my collaborators have been on the other side of an ocean. I would like that to change.
Sing or play
Make a peace song together
Singers, instrumentalists, chanters, drummers, choirs. Bring a melody, a lyric. The studio, the recording and the production are mine to give — there is nothing to pay and nothing to sign, if it is about the cause.
On camera
Peace music videos
I direct and produce peace music video. If you have a peace song of your own that carries a message worth spreading, I can help you film it. Your song stays yours.

The studio is on Maui
StarLight Harmony Music Studio. Start with an email, and we can talk on the phone from there — that is how everything here begins. Some of the best work starts with a conversation and no plan at all.
Everyone else — what to write about
Poets
Send the words
A poem arrives, and a song comes back. That is how “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” “Plant More Trees” and most of Circle of Peace began. Send your poem in any language, with a note about how you would like it credited.

English and Urdu. Messages in other languages are welcome and will be translated.
Before you write
If you are sending a poem, include the full text, your name as you would like it credited, and your country. If you are asking about an event, include the date and the place. It saves a round of messages, and the song starts sooner.
A note on independence. I have never charged for peace music work. My mission of peace through music is nonpolitical and nonreligious, and rests on the basic principles of humanity and friendship. I respect and love all my friends working for peace and harmony on our beautiful planet. Publishing a link on this website does not mean that I am part of any group, or that I agree — completely or partially — with the ideology, views or beliefs of any person or organization, or with the content of their websites. All links and names are published in good faith, to provide a bridge and to help the community spread messages of peace and love in a neutral way.
